Colours

Hi Tsuyoshi san :-)

Yeah - the color idea sounds great. I've never worked w/ colors before so this is a good time to test it out.

To limit printing costs, I propose 3 possible color ideas:

1. Each artist choose 2 colors from cyan/magenta/yellow/black. Meaning we can achieve 4 different color themes using standard process printing.
2. We each choose 1 Pantone color + black. It will result in a 5 color print in total.
3. We choose 3 Pantone colors + 1 black to create our own palette. So this will be a 4 color print just like process printing.

If there's enough money, we can also add 1 special spot color for the cover spread (like metallic/fluro).

It'll be so cool if we can find a paper that smells & feels like money and print our comic on it! :-)

Tsuyoshi san, there are only 3 strips per A4 page. We'll organize our strips on the A0 sheet so it's not a problem. As for the cover, It'll be cool to continue the strip design. So we can perhaps imagine a 4 page long panorama, divide it into 3 strips and delegate the rendering to 4 artists.

Attached are possible organization of strips. Titus will draw 24 strips and the rest of us will draw 20 strips each.

The last 4 pages can be used as the cover spread (using gatefold folding method). I try to have all 4 artist represented on the cover when it's fully closed (either front or back) - see 2nd attachment. The positions are still open at this stage of course.
